These custom ergonomic chairs are rooted in a design developed and refined over 35 years by my teacher and Japanese master craftsman, Tak Yoshino. He dedicated his career to understanding how a chair can properly support the human body. The structure is shaped to encourage natural posture and long-term comfort through proportion, balance, and careful shaping rather than padding or mechanical adjustment.

 

Building on this foundation, I create each chair by hand in solid wood, introducing aesthetic variations while preserving the integrity, support, and principles of his original design. Each chair is made to fit the individual, combining traditional craftsmanship with personalized comfort.
